Game of Thrones fans get excited. HBO has just announced the new 23 Jump Street movie will star Jon Snow and Tormund.
Although details about the film’s story remain secret, HBO has revealed that movie will be set in the realms of medical school. A press release poster also shows Snow and Tormund joined by Game of Thrones’ favourite dire wolf: Ghost.
The film will mark the first time the two have worked together outside of the Game of Thrones universe, but both have expressed their excitement.
“Of course, I’m excited,” says Jon Snow actor Kit Harrington. “After how they f**king ended it [Game of Thrones], I can’t wait to get out of that place and do something fun again. I mean, did you see that shit? It was the shittest writing I had ever seen. An absolute f**king joke”.
While most expected Jonah Hill and Channing Tatum to reprise their roles, many are happily surprised to see the change.
“OMG! BEST NEWS EVER” tweets user forgesex44. “Maybe HBO can finally give a proper sendoff that these actors deserve”.
Reddit fans are also imagining how other Game of Thrones co-stars will venture out to new things. Memes of Daenerys Targaryen have surfaced depicting her in How to Train Your Dragon 4. Meanwhile, Arya Stark has been depicted to star in the next Assassins Creed.
Only time will tell if the truth will be stranger than fiction.
